Poison is an American rock band formed in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania in 1983. The band consists of members Bret Michaels (lead vocals, rhythm guitar), C.C. DeVille (lead guitar, backing vocals), Bobby Dall (bass, backing vocals), and Rikki Rockett (drums, percussion).

Poison rose to fame in the late 1980s and early 1990s with their glam metal sound and catchy, anthemic songs. The band's hits include "Every Rose Has Its Thorn," "Talk Dirty to Me," and "Nothin' But a Good Time".
